  • Get the panoramic view of Paris, Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, and Montparnasse Tower
  • Visit and Enjoy the Arc de Triomphe

When you skip the line in Paris, you can visit the iconic Arc de Triomphe which offers you stunning vistas over the gorgeous Champs Elysées. The monument was designed in the style of the Roman Arch of Titus and soars to a height of 162 feet. It is also 148 feet long and 72 feet wide.

The Arc de Triomphe was built in 1806 during the time of Napoleon I and was opened by King Louis Philippe in 1836. It is also meant to act as a monument to those who fought during the French Revolution.

At the base of the Arc de Triomphe you will find the grave on an unknown soldier who was awarded the prestigious Legion of Honour in 1920. A flame burns here every night from 6.30 pm in honor of all French soldiers who have been killed in battle.

We received quite the surprise as we entered the Arc de Triomphe – no elevators – we climbed 284 steps to the top! There was no warning – it was fine, just very unexpected. The views were worth it though! Highly recommend – just might recommend taking some water with you. Once you were at the top it was beautiful!
