Poble Espanol is the place to come if you want to see full scale models of 117 local buildings and get a snapshot of Spain. Poble Espanol has five different audiovisual areas where you immerse yourself in the culture of Spain though smell, sight and touch and you can also learn all about the customs and traditions in the various regions of the country.
When you skip the line at Poble Espanol you will get to visit a 49,000 m2 village which will take you on a tour of the architecture, culture and food of this fascinating country. Just some of the exhibits on display include the new ‘Feeling Spain’ immersive capsules although Poble Espanol itself dates from 1929.
On a visit to the village you will find 117 buildings from across the country which is perfect if you are interested in knowing more about the local architecture. As well as the model homes, you will also find the Fran Daurel Museum included as part of the village which has over 300 pieces of art by artists such as Miro, Picasso and Dali. You can also go shopping at Poble Espanol as there are 20 artisans who work onsite and sell local handicrafts such as ceramics, glass work, jewelry and leather goods.
