- St. John Lateran is said to be one of the most significant churches in the world and is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.

The church was constructed at the time of Pope Miltiades and it remained an official residence of the Popes until the 19th century and nowadays it serves as the main Cathedral of the Diocese of Rome.

Some spots not to miss in the church include the Holy Stairs which sit to the east of the main square and form a section of the original Lateran Palace. All in all, when you purchase a ticket to visit St. John Lateran, you will be able to enjoy a key slice of religious history here as well as admire the sheer beauty of this amazing building which has stood here for centuries.
